I was named after a street.
It’s true. But, in full disclosure, it was the memories made on that street, in the first flip house my parents worked on together with my Grandfather.
Today I want to share some of that story with you.
My parents were high school sweethearts, and after high school graduation, wait for it.... started flipping houses! 🏡 Actually, my grandfather was the original house flipper in our family. It was summertime, right after my parents graduated high school, and my grandfather purchased a house on “Chelsea Road” in Palos Verdes. My parents worked together with him to make the home beautiful.
I know the stories from that house flip, and the memories my parents made with my grandfather. I know the skills my grandfather shared with both of my parents that summer because they have now passed those skills to me. Just as they passed my name to me.
Now, finding myself in this world of Real Estate and flipping homes, my name becomes so much more meaningful. I was made for this, and I love it! ❤️
